Bangalore Insurance Professionals Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1983. BIP has been handling Insurance Consultancy from the beginning. The vision of BIP has been "to focus on the client's specific insurance needs and provide total solutions".

BIP handles mainly corporate clients and has provided custom workstation solutions also to many clients and achieved computerisation of the Insurance departments. BIP has also helped Corporates to train their Insurance Department personnel with the domain expertise. BIP is also registered as a Small Scale Industry in Karnataka for software development activity in Insurance related areas.

The day to day activities of BIP are managed by the Managing Director, Mr. D. Subramanian. He is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and has a rich 35 years of experience in various capacities in the Indian Insurance Industry.
